Online Classes
The Ali Akbar College of Music has been proudly offering online classes since 2009. Currently , all of our classes are being offered online. Students who have studied at the College in the past can enjoy the rich musical experience they have become familiar with, and new students from around the world can access Indian music classes which were formerly unavailable to them.
Online Indian music classes include:
- Live chat: All of the classes have a monitor who can answer your questions live
- AACM Online: A student portal where you can review the recorded classes for practice and review and download the notation available for your course
- Direct contact with the teacher anytime during the session to ask questions
If you have thought of taking classes at the College, but cannot attend the entire session due to work or other commitments, this can be the solution. You can watch live from home online, or learn from the recording at a later time.
Previous online instrumental classes are available to learn from. If you are interested in learning a particular raga here is a list of the ragas that have been taught in 2016 – 2021. We offer only the full 8 week courses that were previously recorded. We do not mix and match partial courses. Please contact the office if you would like any further information.
