Benjamin Araki

Benjamin Araki began his training on the sitar in India, Varanasi, at the age of 19. He came to AACM in 2007 and began learning from Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. He currently continues to learn the sitar in the Maihar tradition under the guidance of Alam Khan while performing both as a solo artist and as a member of the AACM ensemble.
